I watch the bloody sky every single day but theres sooo many clouds...cant someone come up with a cloud blower?

Talking of watching the sky, has any body else noticed how blue the sky was today with no commercial aircraft operating, laying their condensation trails across the heavens and creating that all-over haze which is so prevalent these days? Even the sun smiled at me!

Odd that Mike I just had an email from Roslyn my and she said exactly the same..no planes..more lovely weather..its proof that those bloody planes are not good for us

the night sky is the same, crystal clear like i have never seen, ideal for stagazing, a little strange though without the ubiquitous nav lights of aircraft, makes every moving thing suspect!

Wow, may be this clearing of all large high-flying aircraft from European airspace has been "engineered" by our space brethren just so that they can put on a mass display without hazarding our craft..... must keep watching the skies....... 


Actually, the sky was incredibly clear last night and Venus was an impressive sight too. As Mulder's Apprentice says, ideal for stargazing, and UFO spotting. Grab your woolly hats and get out there tonight.....

yup, another fantastic clear night, maybe worth while scouring the last 48 hours worth of ufo sightings at least without any air traffic i suppose you can instantly eliminate at least 50% of possible causes, reasons, excuses......delete as appropriate as to what some sightings may be?

My father saw what he believes to be a UFO above Horndean, near Portsmouth, UK, moving from South/S.East towards North/N.West at about 11.20pm, June 12th. It was a completely round extremely bright light, appearing about one third size of moon, moving slowly across the sky with an occasional ve...ry slight vibration but c...ompletely silent. He says it was far too large and travelling too low to be a satelite. He watched for a few minutes until it disappeared from view to the North. He's never seen anything like it before. Unfortunately he did not have any photographic equipment with him as he was out to walk the dog and not specifically to watch for UFO's. Be interested to hear if anyone else in Portsmouth area saw anything?.

i'm in charleston sc. me, my teenage son and his friend all saw a red glowing light in the sky, the west skies. it was glowing and flashing, i thought it could be a planet or something. then after about 10 minutes, it was gone. we had gone in the house. i called them and say, take a look its gone. all other sky and sta...rs are very visable so it could not had been a star or a plane or helicopter. it just hovered and now is gone. last year on june 6th we saw round orbs or spheres here over the kiawah river. the kept appearing and disapearing like just a out of no where. i've never seen anything like that night before or again. i need a really good night vision camera. any suggestions. there are to many things going on and i really need to start filming. i have a great open view of the water and sky.
anyone else seeing things out there tonight?

hi sat in my friends garden yesterday 3 30 in the afternoon saw a white ball in the sky passing through clouds got a pair of binoculars . could not believe what i saw it was a white silver disc on its side with what seemed like red and black markings on it ; it kept hovering for a few minuets then moved on . it was g...oing faster than a plain when it moved away also it went up and down in and out of clouds then it was gone did not have good enough zoom on my camcorder poo ian


Reese Anderson 4 bright lights flew over my house, very high up. I woke my girlfriend up (a non believer) and she watched another 2 fly over. These were between 23:40 and 00:04 on the 15th June 2010. Too low for satellites but too high for planes.
Quite fast moving. Clear night, no clouds, many stars and no moon.
The girlfriend is stil...l skeptical... Grr...

This is massage from my daughter in jakarta Indonesia : many red dots fly over jakarta sky, today june 19, about 10 pm. they fly from east to west.

monday night i was watching over the quesnel skies,a bright light appeared streaked then it went dim,it was like a satellite only a bit bigger.it travelled for awhile,then it disappeared.upon it's arrival a stationary star began moving.tues night in the same vascinity something fired up once then again further down ,ther was no craft visible;though it seemed like something was moving accross the sky.thanx for accepting my friend request,have a nice day.

Daniel LaPorte Watching the sky Melanie and man I wish I had a vid cam. Just saw two brights near the mountains view of where I'm at in Colorado. Definitely not comets or meteors. Happened in synchronizingly

Interesting selection Melanie. Do you think your father could have witnessed the ISS going over. It has been very visible over southern UK for a while now and will be until Jul 9th. It's quite impressive. The "red dots" in Jakarta's skies sound intriguing too.
