Topics: World David Goodhue - AHN ReporterSichuan, China (AHN) - A magnitude 5.0 earthquake is being blamed for one death and 11 injuries in China's Sichuan Province Sunday morning.

The quake also caused the collapse of more than 100 houses, China's state news organization Xinhua reported.
The quake happened at about 5:30 a.m. local time. It reportedly caused about $4.4 million in damages.
Sichuan is located in the southwestern portion of China. The area was struck by a magnitude 8 earthquake on May 12, 2008 that killed at least 87,000 people, according to the BBC.
