Do you believe life exists on Mars?
« on: March 02, 2007, 10:01:32 PM »
Recently river like images have been shown on news stations. Do you believe that life exists on Mars and if yes, to what extent. If no, please say why you believe that life does not exist.

Hi Steve,my answer is a big yes simply because JPL/Nasa are bunch of wafflers. Who do not wish to impart info they have discovered on Mars to Joe public!. That is there policy and is not a problem for there conciences( they have none?).

Water on Mars may well produce evidence of microbial life, however planetary geologists are expressing concerns that the conclusions are still very much speculative, but I wonder why this is?

We know from Earth Science that where there is water there are usually microbes or bacteria.  Of course this arguably is life Jim but not as we know it, or is it?

Deep down in the ocean off the coast of Peru, in the rocks that form the sea floor, are bacteria that do not need sunlight, do not need carbon dioxide and do not need oxygen.
These microbes survive by eating their domicile rocks. Researchers from the Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) have embarked aboard the world's largest scientific drill-ship on a voyage to understand the abundance and diversity of these microbes and the environments in which they live, as will happen on Mars but by Mars probes.

On the other side of the coin scientists argue that Mars is another planet and speculation should not be bias or based upon what we know from Earth science.  Even so I suspect that some type of simple life form will be found, eventually.

Looking at some of the pictures sent back, it looks like there is vegetation of some sort. Could be so microbial life forms as well.

How long before NASA comes clean?

I would be very surprised if life of some sort is  not found on Mars, probably hidden beneath the surface. Again probably microbial by nature. It may not be so different to similar life on Earth. As far as little green men I think it is unlikely.
There are better places in our solar system where life may be found, like the moon Titan.

I believe that life in some form existed on Mars.   However, given the conditions of the atmosphere now, I really don't know.

personally i believe life did live on Mars up until about half million years ago... i think there was war and that nukes fried them all... there is evidence of construction on Mars but i do not think life.  Yes i think that aliens come and go and may use Mars for whatever.... that goes for the moon too... the moon was towed over to its' present location a quarter million miles off the earth.   it was towed over by some really smart and strong aliens... not easy to tow a moon i bet....right? yea...   anyway Jax aka obe says so and it must be...he is starchild and i am not, i am but an old american mutt...german and english and 100%...American ....
 :o ;D
Welll my nice European friends i think that this whole coverup of aliens, illuminati/nwo and all is due to run its' course soon.. how much can we take from these shape shifting human eating sob's????   someday we have to stop the sob's... so the question is,  how???  can d. Icke answer that?    how about Alex Jones??? not really right....   keep your powder dry my Limey Friends....

It, er, kinda depends on your definition of "life". Vegetation does it for me, if it comes to a push. There certainly seems to be something going on there:

http://mmmgroup.altervista.org/e-trees.html

....and, if there is standing water, one wonders what may be lurking in that too!

Sometimes you shouldn't believe the evidence of your own eyes, but, equally, it is sometimes very difficult to explain what it is we are actually seeing in any other terms than those dictated by our own experience. Draw your own conclusions, but to state categorically that..... "there is no life on Mars....", indicates to me the possibility of a closed mind. Some of the photos that have been beamed back from Mars would indicate that if there isn't life (as we know it) now, then there almost certainly was at some time in the not too distant past. I will not get into discussions about the validity of the Cydonia face - still not convinced by that one - but there are what appears to be old foundations, platforms and earth works (for want of a better expression)!

So, in answer to the original question, YES! I most certainly do!
